Job Description
Under supervision and guidance, this position will be responsible for completing journal entries, various account reconciliations, department expense analysis along with other various accounting tasks as assigned.

  • Assist and support the General Ledger and Operations Accounting group with various month end reporting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and various reporting. Perform monthly reconciliations of Inventory including E&O, Plant Property and Equipment and Construction in Process, along with other accounts as assigned. Administrator of monthly reconciliation dashboard and scorecard.
  • Monitors equipment/facility Capital Projects along with assigning project numbers, tracking actual project spend to budgeted expectations and working with project owners to ensure costs related to the project are accurate and accounted for properly. Will be responsible for updating the Plant Property and Equipment listing as projects are completed and assets are disposed. Will record the monthly depreciation.
  • Assists the Operations Group in organizing the procedures for taking periodic physical inventories. This can include auditing, entering inventory tag counts, performing reconciliations and reporting inventory adjustments.
  • Manage Intercompany Receivable reconciliation and confirmations along with managing the shared services monthly invoicing. Also responsible for supporting the shared service departments in their allocation methodologies and tracking of costs.
  • Submit monthly department spend reports and will help to identify and investigate variances. Provide support to departmental leads with any questions regarding spend, headcount, variances and any additional questions they may have.
  • Assist with completing the annual budget, quarterly forecasting and reporting, annual audits and other various requests as assigned.

    • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
    • 1-3 years of experience in finance/accounting
