Job Description
The Logistics & Production Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for various aspects of shipping, receiving, and inventory, including controlling and maintaining accurate inventory records and counts within the system, manually selecting inventory and tracking in the system for various jobs. This position is also responsible for ensuring that inbound and outbound shipments meet customer and company standards.

  • Physically picks orders using pick slips generated by the ERP system
  • Loads and offloads trucks using manual and battery/fuel operated machines
  • Receives, inspects and deliver inbound material into the ERP system and to respective departments
  • Inventories Logistics area stock on a cyclic schedule
  • Leads & manages physical inventory in other assigned areas
  • Picks and preps parcel orders and ships out using ERP system.
  • Analyzes all assigned inventories and establishes inventory planning factors as appropriate.
  • Implementing inventory strategies and monitors and reduces inventory levels consistent with inventory and customer service goals
  • Manages the cycle count process in assigned areas and initiates corrective action to prevent future errors
  • Complies with the company 5S standards and safety regulations

  • Assist with Logistics Specialist duties as needed to cover for vacation and time off.

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College courses toward degree in Logistics or related field extremely desirable
  • 1+ years' experience in inventory management
  • 3+ years' experience in logistics management
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. repetitively throughout the day
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery (forklifts)
