Job Description
Compressor Products International (CPI) designs, manufactures and markets precision-engineered sealing components and lubrication systems for reciprocating compressors used in chemical plants, refineries and natural gas processing and transportation facilities.
Summary/Overview: The CAD designer will be responsible for engineer support of the Engineering team through support of the order finalization
Position Responsibilities:

  • Generating Engineering Drawings based upon input from the Engineering Team
  • Overall support of the Engineer Team
  • General Engineering Administrative support including but not limited to data entry
  • Supporting of manufacturing engineers with drawing related questions as they arise

Required Skills
  • Solid Works
  • Familiarity with 3D Modeling
  • Familiarity with Engineering Drawings
  • Familiarity General Tolerance
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems (Epicor Preferred)
  • Understating of Assembly Bill of Material Structure
  • Engineering Requirements
  • Compile Technical File for Certifications
  • 5 - 10 years prior experience working in a similar capacity
  • Understanding of Engineering Calculations

  • Oil and Gas / Energy Industry Experience
  • Familiar with P&ID
